The purpose of this research was to detect the problems experienced by foreign students studying in a state college which has a multicultural environment in the Turkish Re-public of Northern Cyprus with the point of view of the students and teachers and to suggest some solutions. The research was considered important in terms of identifying the problems experienced by foreign students in the point of view them and their teachers. It is thought that detection of the problems will contribute to the studies for both the deve-lopment and application of multicultural programs. The sample of the research is 15 foreign students and 15 teac-hers who work in state college in the TRNC, in the academic year 2017-2018. The research was designed as a case study from qualitative research methods. In the study, data were collected by two semi-structured interview forms consisting of open-ended questions developed by the researchers. Descriptive and content analyses was used to perform data analysis. As a result of the research, it was determined that students had some problems related with foreign students. The major of these problems were language, culture diffe-rences, lack of interest in teaching/learning process, and adaptation problems.
