Organized movement of employees to improve their social and economic conditions and their membership to trade unions for this purpose have been ensured by the international law and regulated in Turkish Labour Law by rules. Worker trade union membership are available for both employees who work under worker status and to employees who work based on some legal relations apart from the relationship of worker contract. Newly executed Trade Unions and Collective Labor Contract Law 6356 makes new regulations for worker trade union membership conditions different than the Trade Unions Law 2821 which fell into desuetude. The study examines the new membership conditions written in the Law 6356.
