Özet:

The Nineteenth Letter, also known as the "Muʻcizât-ı Ahmadiyya," is written by Badiuzzaman Said Nursi in his work "Letters." This is the part that talks about the miracles of the Prophet. The narrations about the tree, one of these miracles, are included in the Ninth and Tenth Signs of the aforementioned Letter. While there are eight narrations in the Ninth Sign, only ‘‘hanînü'l-cizʻ’’/crying of a dry pillar in the Tenth Sign narration is cited. According to the first narration mentioned as the first example, when the polytheists rejected his invitation, The Prophet said, "O Allah! Show me such a miracle today that from now on I will not mind those who reject my invitation!”. “Call a tree!” is called to him. He summoned a tree. The tree came before him by breaking through the soil and greeting him. Then The Prophet ordered the tree to return, and it returned to its place. Finding solace in this miracle given to him, The Prophet said, "From now on, I will not care for anyone from my people who denied me." The narration in the second example is that a Bedouin asked for proof. He asked the Prophet to call a tree. When the miracle he wanted to be came true, the Bedouin said, "Okay, enough, enough!". The Prophet told him to return to the tree before him by splitting the soil and greeting him. The tree returned as it came and settled in its place. According to the narration that Nursi narrates as a third example, the Messenger of Allah wanted to make a sheltered place for relieving himself, which others would not see. For this purpose, he dragged two trees by their branches and commanded, "Gather around me!". Thereupon, two trees came together and formed a place that could not be seen from the outside with their branches. The narration in the fourth example is a miracle about living trees’ coming together and stones’ forming a wall. The Prophet, Usama b. He told Zayd, "Go and say to the trees, 'Gather for the need of the Messenger of Allah!" When he ordered, he fulfilled the order. The trees came out of their places and united, and the stones were stacked on top of each other to form a wall. After the Prophet fulfilled his needs, he said to Usama, "Tell them to leave!" says. When he did as he was told, the trees and stones separated from each other and returned to their old places. The fifth narration speaks of a miracle in the Taif expedition. According to this story, While the Prophet rode a horse at night during the Taif campaign, he sometimes fell asleep. During such a slumber, he cannot notice the cider tree in front of him. Just when he was about to hit the tree with his horse, the tree split in two and gave way, and The prophet rides through that tree with his horse. The sixth narration is that a tree of the type "talha" or "semura" came to the presence of the Prophet and turned around him, and greeted him. The seventh narration is that when the jinn of Nusaybin came to the Prophet for conversion, a tree informed about this information to the Prophet. The eighth narration, which is the last example under the title of The Ninth Sign, expresses an event similar to the examples above: The Prophet asked a Bedouin, "Would you believe if I called the branch of that tree and it came to me?" he asks. When the Bedouin said "Yes," the Messenger of Allah called the branch of the tree. The branch of the tree comes by breaking off. The Prophet ordered, and the branch returned to its place. As mentioned above, Nursi dealt with the true mutawatir narration of "the weeping of a dry pillar" under a separate title called The Tenth Sign. This famous narration, which many Companions narrated in many ways, can be summarized as follows: The Prophet used to deliver a sermon leaning on a dry date pole in the Masjid al-Nabawi. A pulpit is built so people can see and listen to him better. When the Prophet went to the pulpit to deliver a sermon, he began to sigh and weep because the palm pole broke away from him. Everyone in the mosque heard his crying. The Prophet descended from the pulpit, came to the palm pillar, consoled him, and promised to plant her in heaven at his request. While conveying these narrations, Nursi sometimes mentions one or more sources. Sometimes, without citing any source, he is content to say that they come with an authentic narration and only mentions the first narrator of the hadith. In the works written according to the classical method, the owner of the narration or the book's name were usually mentioned as the source, and a detailed source introduction was not included as it is today. Since Nursi wrote his works according to the classical method, he mostly did not mention the titles of the narrations and the page number of the source. However, the issue of showing the sources of the narrations in this way has gained importance today, and showing the sources in detail in scientific works has become a tradition that must be followed.
