Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to determine the level of management skills of the school managers according to the counsel's opinions. In this study, a cutting-edge scan model was used to determine the level of management skills of the school managers according to the counsel's opinions. The study was conducted by 511 students. In this study, the "Management Skills Scale" was used. The scale, 2019-2020 educational year in November 2019, was implemented by 511 guardians researchers in the center of the province of Ankara with the necessary preliminary declaration and data were collected. The study found that the school managers’ management skills were at the level “I agree”. In addition, when the management skills of the school managers are studied on the basis of dimensions, it has been shown that this issue is "accepted" in the dimensions of human relations and communication, teacher support, guidance and organization development. According to the research, school managers’ management skills have not shown a significant difference according to the level, gender, age, educational status and variables in the professional sector. School managers can create environments where they cooperate with parents in order to have effective management skills in a way that will also include communication and interaction with parents and social events can be organized.
