In this study, five masjids located in the historical Ichan-Kala campus, located in Khwarezm Province of Uzbekistan and the city of Khiva are discussed. These masjids, which were built during the Khiva Khanate, one of the Central Asian Turkic Khanates, are very important in terms of showing that the Khiva Khanate's own style was formed in the zoning activities when compared to the features of the period and the architectural structures of other khanates in the region. The khanate, which was established in 1521 under the rule of İlbars Khan, disappeared in 1920 when Soviet Russia took over the region completely. Khiva khans, who have maintained their dominance in the Khwarezm region for about 400 years, gave great importance to both the city's construction activities and social and cultural developments. With the leadership of important statesmen in the construction process of the buildings, the city experienced a rapid development process. Especially with the transfer of the capital of the khanate to Khiva, intensive development activities in the city continued without slowing down. The fact that many different building groups such as mosques, masjids, madrasahs, tombs, inns, baths and palaces were built in Ichan-Kala, which the inns and important statesmen made the most sheltered place of the city, enabled Ichan-Kala to become a trade center during its period. Undoubtedly, masjids have an important place among these building groups that contribute to the development and growth of the city. These building groups are one of the most important proofs that the Khanate of Khiva created a unique architectural style in the Central Asian Turkish Art considering the period they were built, its patrons, building materials, decoration and plan features and that it came to a different position from the other Turkish Khans in the region.
