The data of the study were collected digitally at the end of the 2019/2020 Spring semester using a questionnaire consisting of six open-ended questions. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive analysis, presented in the form of tables, expressed with frequencies and supported by direct excerpts from the opinions of teacher candidates. The obtained data were analyzed according to the content analysis technique, the created themes and codes were tabulated by specifying their frequencies, and were supported by direct quotations from teacher candidates' opinions. According to the findings obtained as a result of the research, it was determined that the teacher candidates loved animals and had awareness of conservation. For some situations where animals are exposed, “unfortunately, it's a pity!” their use of emotional expressions such as their use of mostly positive expressions about the difficulties of feeding animals shows that they have animal love and sensitivity.
