In the most general sense, translation, which can be defined as the transfer process from one language to another, is a multifaceted process with many meanings and functionality. Although literary translation is more difficult to define because it includes all creative and artistic uses, unlike the general definition, the text in a source language, which has a position to reflect the meaning and message of the source text in the translated text, is the target by preserving the semantic, syntactic and stylistic features of the text on a certain level. It can be defined as a process with a transfer to literature. Translation has two important dimensions: language and culture. The research field of translation studies covers these two dimensions of translation. In today's world, if the strategic and geopolitical position of Turkey is the target, economic reasons are the target, relations with the Arab world are accelerating as a result of some social events and due to the mutual language exchange, many cultural items such as movies, TV series, books and so on are rapidly being translated from Turkish to Arabic and from Arabic to Turkish. Turkish literature has also started to be recognized and read rapidly in the Arab world, and the Syrian-born translator Abdulkadir Abdelli has made the greatest contribution to this field. He translated many books by Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar, Orhan Veli, Yaşar Kemal, Fakir Baykurt, Aziz Nesin, Orhan Kemal and many other authors into Arabic, which created a great interaction in literary transmission. In this study, the cultural elements in the Arabic translation of Ece Temelkuran's Muz Sesleri, which Abdelli translated into Arabic, and the translation strategies used in the translation of these elements into Arabic will be examined. In the theoretical framework of the study, the cultural elements classification of translation scientist Newmark and the translation strategies of translation studies researcher Venuti's "domesticization" and "foreignization" will be used. In the study, the novel in question and the target text will be examined comparatively through the methods proposed for the translation of cultural elements, and determinations will be made regarding translation strategies. The novel chosen as a whole for the study was translated into Arabic by the translator Abdulkadir Abdelli under the name Esvatu'l Mevz.
