The aim of this study is to study the attitudes of managers in tourism enterprises towards gender discrimination and women's employees and to determine the current practices of the relevant managers in their enterprises. In the research, the method of interacting has been used and semi-configured as a data collection tool. The study used the measurement sampling technique, which is one of the methods of sampling for the purpose, and the managers of 33 tourist enterprises located in Ankara had face-to-face conversations. The talks took place from 1 September to 30 November 2019. The results of the discussions were analyzed through visual analysis, content analysis and frequency distribution. The findings from the analysis show that tourism business managers have positive perceptions and attitudes towards women employees, but they have lack of knowledge about gender discrimination and have normalized a number of gender inequality conditions in the work environment. Other findings from the research are also that the current representation of women in the sector is low in the management stage, that the departments and jobs in the sector are divided by gender, that the most important factor that pushes women to work is the gain of economic independence and that the main reason for women leaving work is the work-family conflict. It is believed that the results from the research will contribute positively to literature and the recommendations developed will benefit in the practice of tourism enterprises.
