Bu araştırmanın amacı, drama etkinliklerinin ilkokul dördüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin sosyal bilgiler dersine ilişkin motivasyonları ve tutumları üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda karma araştırma yöntemlerinden açımlayıcı sıralı desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırma Elazığ İl Milli Eğitim’ine bağlı bir ilkokulda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada verileri elde etmek amacıyla öğrencilere “Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi Tutum Ölçeği” ve “Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi Motivasyon Ölçeği” uygulanmıştır. Her iki ölçek araştırma başında ön test ve araştırma sonunda son test olarak uygulanmıştır. Nitel verilerin elde edilmesi için ise, deney grubu öğrencileri ile uygulama sonucunda yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu yoluyla görüş alınmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin drama yöntemi ile sosyal bilgiler dersini işlemeleri yapılan analizler sonucunda gruplar arası ön test ve son test puan ortalamalarında hem sosyal bilgiler dersine ilişkin tutum puan ortalamalarında hem de sosyal bilgiler dersi motivasyon puan ortalamalarında deney grubun lehine anlamlı bir fark ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca yapılan analizler sonucunda, grup içi deney grubu öğrencilerinin sosyal bilgiler dersi tutum ölçeğinden ve sosyal bilgiler dersi motivasyon ölçeğinden elde edilen ön test ve son test puan ortalamalarında son test lehine anlamlı bir fark ortaya çıktığı tespit edilmiştir. Nitel verilerden elde edilen sonuçlara bakıldığında, nicel veriler ile örtüşen sonuçlar elde edilmiştir.
The aim of this study is to study the impact of drama events on the motivations and attitudes of primary school fourth grade students towards the social information course. For this purpose, a distinctive order pattern from the karma research methods has been used. The research was carried out in a primary school related to National Education. In order to obtain data in the research, students were applied "Social Information Course Attitude Scale" and "Social Information Course Motivation Scale". Both scales were applied as the first test at the beginning of the research and the final test at the end of the research. In order to obtain the qualifying data, the experiment group has been discussed with the students through a semi-configured interview form as a result of the application. The study resulted in the processing of the students' drama method and social information course; the analysis resulted in a significant difference in the benefit of the experiment group in both the average attitude score on the social information course and the average motivation score on the social information course. Analysis also found that a significant difference in the advance test and the final test score average obtained from the social information class attitude scale and the social information class motivation scale was found in the group-in-group experimental group for the benefit of the final test. With regard to the results obtained from the quality data, the results matched with the quantitative data were obtained.
