In this study, it is aimed to reveal the perceptions of students who take courses with distance education during the Covid-19 pandemic period about their saticfactions with distance education system. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to 80 undergraduate students who study at Necmettin Erbakan University, Ahmet Keleşoğlu Education Faculty, German Teaching Department. The data which obtained from the questionnaires were online collected and analyzed with descriptive statistics such as frequency and percentage with the help of RStudio program. As a result of the research, it was observed that the students did not adopt the distance education system too much. While it is seen that video recordings, flexible training opportunities and time saving related to maintaining German education with remote methods are positive, issues such as not being able to reach the internet, technical problems and having socially isolated were identified as negative aspects. Another remarkable result of the study is that the students stated that they did not have much difficulty in communicating with the lecturer, although not as much as in face-to-face education. A striking result of the research is the excess of undecided students in each section that constitutes the questionnaire. This result shows that in case the technical problems in distance education are resolved and in case improvement of distance education, students can adopt distance education and be satisfied with it. The fact that most of the students stated that they had difficulty in obtaining technical support is one of the situations that should be improved in distance education and it is suggested that similar studies should be performed in other German teaching departments, so common problems can be detected, and joint steps can be taken to overcome the problems and improve the foreign Language teaching system.
