Bu araştırmada eğitim fakültesinde sanat eğitimi alan öğrencilerin atölye derslerine ilişkin süreçlerinin Gaze yaklaşımı doğrultusunda incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2021-2022 öğretim yılında Doğu Anadolu bölgesinde yer alan bir üniversitenin Eğitim Fakültesi Resim- İş Eğitimi Anabilim Dalında öğrenim görmekte olan altı (6) dördüncü sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır Çalışma grubu “amaçlı örnekleme” yöntemi ile seçilmiştir. Buna göre sanat eğitimi alan öğrencilerin ön öğrenme süreçlerini tamamlamış olması sebebi ile 4. Sınıf öğrencileri tercih edilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın veri toplama araçları olarak sürece ilişkin çekilen fotoğraflar, yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu, öğrenciler tarafından çıkarılan özgün sanatsal ürünleri kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubundaki öğrenciler Gaze sürecinde önce tesadüfi olarak sonrasında ise odak noktalarını belirleyerek fotoğraf çekimlerini sürdürmüşlerdir. Her öğrencinin kendi çektiği fotoğraflar içerisinden birer tane seçilmiştir. Yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu aracılığı ile her öğrenci seçilen imajları kendi bakış açıları doğrultusunda yorumlamışlardır. Çekilen fotoğraflar üzerinde öğrenciler tarafından sorgulamalar yapılarak sanatsal ürünleri için ana çerçeve belirlenmiştir. Öğrenciler ortaya koyacakları eserlerinin eskizleri ile belirlenen çerçeve doğrultusunda özgün çalışmalarını gerçekleştirmişlerdir. Sanat temelli bir araştırma yöntemi olan Gaze sürecine ilişkin verilerin analizinde nitel veri analizi olan betimsel analiz kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucuna göre öğrenciler süreci başarılı bir şekilde yürütmüşlerdir. Her öğrenci yorumladıkları fotoğraflarda kendi bakış açılarını ifade ederek, sürece uygun bir şekilde benliklerini ortaya koydukları özgün eserler ortaya çıkartmışlardır.
This study aims to study the processes related to workshop courses of students who receive art education at the Faculty of Education in accordance with the Gaza Approach. The research study group is composed of six (6) fourth-class students who are studying in the Faculty of Education of an university located in the Eastern Anadolu region in the 2021-2022 academic year The study group is chosen by the method of "massive sampling". This is due to the fact that the students who received art education have completed their pre-learning processes. The students are preferred. The . The photographs taken in relation to the course of this study as the data collection tools, the semi-configured interview form, the original art products extracted by students have been used. Students in the study group took photographs first in the Gaza process by chance and then by determining their focus points. Each student has one of the photographs he has taken. Through a semi-configured interview form, each student has interpreted the selected images according to their own perspectives. The main framework for the art products is determined by questioning by students on the photographs taken. Students performed their original work in accordance with the framework determined by the sketches of their works to be presented. A art-based research method is used in the analysis of the data relating to the Gaza process, an image analysis, which is a quality data analysis. According to the study, students have successfully conducted the process. Each student, by expressing their own views in the pictures they interpreted, revealed the original works they presented in a suitable manner.
In this research, it is aimed to examine the processes of the workshop classes of the students who receive art education in the education faculty in line with the Gaze approach. The study group of the research consists of six (6) senior students studying in the Department of Art-Painting Education of the Faculty of Education in a university in the Eastern Anatolia region in the 2021-2022 academic year. The study group was selected using the "purposive sampling" method. Accordingly, we preferred senior students. Because the senior students receiving art education had already completed their pre-learning process. We used photographs taken about the process, semi-structured interview form, diaries and original artistic products produced by the students as the data collection tools of this study. During the Gaze process, the students continued their photo shoots, first coincidentally and then by determining the focal points. Among the photographs taken by students, one was chosen for each student. The students in the study group interpreted the images selected through the semi-structured interview form with their own perspective. Students made inquiries on the photographs taken and the main frame was determined. The students made the original works in line with the frameworks determined by the sketches of their original works. We used descriptive analysis, which is qualitative data analysis, in the analysis of the data related to the Gaze process, which is an art-based research method. According to the results of the study, the students carried out the process successfully. In the photographs they interpreted, each student expressed their own point of view and created original works in which they revealed their ego in accordance with the process.
