Abstract:

The aim of this study is to determine the problems faced by duty teachers in bussed education. In this study, in which the qualitative research method was used, the data were obtained from 12 teachers working in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır province in the fall semester of the 2022-2023 academic year, with the "semi-structured, non-directive interview technique". Themes and codes were used in the presentation of the research data and comments were supported by quoting directly from some opinions. In the analysis of the data, "descriptive and content" analysis methods were used. According to the research findings, the teachers were unanimous that bussed education increased the anxiety level of teachers and negatively affected academic achievement. In addition, it has been observed that students and teachers have some problems under the categories of bussed education application, transportation center school, parents, bus and bus drivers. In addition, they stated that it affects teachers' motivation negatively.
