Societies acquire the behaviors necessary or avoided to be performed through observations and experiences through the passing of the objects that exist in nature through the minds. In nature, in particular, the existence of objects that generally harm the bio-logic, psychological structure of society has prepared the ground for the formation of its form of thought. In this context, it appears that the human being, which is part of social life, is in the ideology of survival in front of nature, and that it is also formed in the level of nature-universe by his inner and external thoughts, his own and others. The perception and understanding of nature is related to the form of the mental structure. In the light of these thoughts, chaos is perceptions and designs that belong to the outside, such as unusual behavior, action, movement, unregular, complicated, un sacred, unlimited. Cosmos is the perceptions and designs that belong to the inner, such as ordinary behavior, action, movement, in order, in sacred, within the boundaries. Many kinds of narrative, such as myth, narrative, fairy tale, folk story, together with the identity of the narrative, provide information to understand and understand the behavior characteristics of society, the common cultural memory, the traditional world view in a broader expression. In this study, considering the Dresden scripture of the Grandfather's Book of Fear, the stories were evaluated in the context of chaos and cosmos. The purpose of the review is not to reveal all the elements related to chaos and cosmos in the Stories of Grandfather's Fear. Dede Korkut is to study his stories from the Turkish social-cultural life by moving from the point of view of chaos and cosmos. Therefore, certain main examples that will form material to work are sorted. In the study, the reason for the selection of the Stories of Dede Korkut is that the Dede Korkut Book is one of the most basic works of the transition from the immigrant-married lifestyle to the settled life, from the oral cultural apartment to the written cultural apartment, from the story to the public story. In this context, based on the idea that the values of the old cultural apartment will be more clearly placed in the new cultural apartment, Dede Korkut stories were based. However, the study focused on the impact and contribution of the concepts of chaos and cosmos to the structure of the narratives. When the Stories of Fate are considered as a whole, each story is seen as a part of the whole. In these stories, the text is included as a structure and it is believed that the functional mechanism element that preserves the structure and des-trains is the concepts of chaos and cosmos. Chaos affects the text structure with the function of ensuring the movement and progress of the story in stories. The cosmos, by creating a stable style of narrative, shows the calmness and normal flow of the narrative. These two concepts, which seem contradictory to each other, complement each other in the context of both the flow of the story and the narrative's mind world. The chaos and cosmos values are also seen as the basic reminder elements that build the story the narrator established. When assessed in this regard, chaos and cosmos can be considered, on the one hand, the structural integrity of the text, and on the other hand, the function-cell mechanism. The Dede Korkut Book, which is among the basic works of Turkish cultural memory and cultural wealth, has been studied with a different perspective from the view that the concepts of chaos and cosmos are the basic values that build the text.
