Bu çalışma UEFA Avrupa Liginden galip ve mağlup ayrılan takımları bazı parametreler açısından karşılaştırmak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma verileri UEFA resmi sitesinden alınarak turnuvaya katılan 48 takımın birbirleriyle yaptıkları 161 müsabaka üzerinden yapılmıştır. Bağımsız iki grup arasındaki farklılığı tespit etmek için Mann Whitney U testi uygulanarak, ortalama değerleri ile standart sapma değerleri hesaplanmıştır. Anlamlılık değeri p<0,05 olarak kabul edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre müsabakalardan galip ve mağlup ayrılan takımların kaydedilen atılan gol sayısı, ilk yarı ve ikinci yarıda atılan gol sayısı, isabetli pas ve isabetli orta sayısı, toplam şut ve isabetli şut sayısı, topla oynama yüzdesi ve korner sayısı ile ilgili sonuçlarına bakıldığında, iki grup arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık tespit edilmiştir (p<0,05). Müsabakalardan galip ve mağlup ayrılan takımların toplam orta sayısı, isabetli pas yüzdesi, ikili mücadele kazanma yüzdesi, sarı kart ve kırmızı kart sayısı, ofsayt sayısı ve faul sayısı ile ilgili sonuçlarına bakıldığında, iki grup arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık tespit edilmemiştir (p>0,05). Sonuç olarak müsabakalardan galip ayrılan takımların bazı parametreler açısından mağlup takımlardan üstün olduğu ve bu sayede galibiyete ulaştıkları görülmektedir.
This study was done with the aim of comparing the teams winning and defeated from the UEFA European League in terms of some parameters. The research was carried out on the official website of the UEFA tournament, with 48 teams participating in 161 matches. The Mann Whitney U test was applied to identify the differences between the two independent groups, calculating the standard deviation values with their average values. The value of meaning is considered p<0,05. According to the results obtained, the recorded number of goals of the teams who won and defeated from the matches, the number of goals set in the first half and second half, the number of passes and the average number of passes, the total number of shots and the number of passes, the percentage of ball play and the number of corner, the statistically significant differences between the two groups have been found (p<0,05). With regard to the results related to the total average number of teams winning and defeated from the matches, the percentage of hit passes, the percentage of winning two matches, the number of yellow and red cards, the number of offset and the number of faults, there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups (p>0,05). As a result, the teams that have won from the matches are superior to the defeated teams in some parameters and thus they reach the victory.
This study was done by comparing some parameters of the teams that won and lost the UEFA European League. It was made over 161 competitions between 48 teams participating in the tournament. The middle number of the teams that won and lost from the competitions, the percentage of correct passes, the percentage of the double fight, the number of yellow cards and red cards were not different between the two groups (p> 0, 05). As a result, it is seen that the teams that are victorious from the competitions are superior to the teams other than some parameters and thus, they have won.
