Bu çalışmada biyoloji bölümü ile biyoloji eğitimi anabilim dalında öğrenim gören öğrencilerin biyoloji öz-yeterlik ve öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik öz-yeterlik inançlarının öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarına etkisi incelenmiştir. Betimsel tarama modeli ilişkisel tarama yöntemi ile yapılan çalışmanın örneklemini biyoloji bölümü ve biyoloji eğitimi anabilim dalına kayıtlı toplam 469 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak biyoloji öz-yeterlik ölçeği, öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik öz-yeterlik ölçeği ve öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutum ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Ölçeklerden elde edilen verilerin analizinde SPSS-15 paket programı kullanılmış ve başlıca yüzde frekans dağılımı, basit doğrusal regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonunda biyoloji bölümü ve biyoloji eğitimi öğrencilerinin öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutum ölçeğinin genelinden aldıkları puanların normal dağılıma sahip olduğu, biyoloji öz-yeterlik inancı ile öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik öz-yeterlik inancı değişkenlerinin regresyon katsayısının biyoloji eğitimi öğrencilerinde yüksek, biyoloji bölümü öğrencilerinde ise düşük olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
In this study, the Department of Biology and Biology Education studied the impact of students studying in the field of biology self-quality and self-quality beliefs towards the teaching profession on their attitudes towards the teaching profession. The sample of the study with the visual scanning model of the relative scanning method was made by a total of 469 students registered in the biology department and the biology education department. The study used the scale of biology self-sufficiency as a data collection tool, the scale of self-sufficiency towards the teaching profession and the scale of attitude towards the teaching profession. In the analysis of the data obtained from the scales, the SPSS-15 package program was used and the main percentage frequency distribution, a simple linear regression analysis was performed. At the end of the study, the biological department and biological education students have a normal distribution of the points they receive from the overall scale of attitude towards the teaching profession, the biological self-capacity belief and the self-capacity belief variables the regression rate of biological education students are high, and the biological department students are low.
In this study, the effects biology self-efficacy and self-efficacy beliefs for teaching profession towards the attitudes on teaching profession of students studying in the department of biology and the department of biology teaching were investigated. The sample of the study, which was carried out through descriptive scan method of scanning the relational model, consisted of total 469 students enrolled in the department of biology and the biology education. As the tools of gathering data, biology self-efficacy scale, self-efficacy scale for the teaching profession and the attitude scale for the teaching profession were used. SPSS-15 package program was used to analyze the data obtained from the scales and the frequency distribution and simple linear regression analysis were performed. At the end of the study, it was observed that the attitude scale towards the teaching profession scores of the students in biology and biology education department have normal distribution. However, the regression coefficients of biology self-efficacy and self-efficacy beliefs for teaching profession were found to be higher for the students in biology education department when compared to the students in biology department.
