Climate change has become a major topic of debate, necessitating new national and international regulations that have left their imprint on the twenty-first century. The difficulties of maintaining the existing established social, economic, and political order have emerged as a result of global climate change affecting all nature and living things. In this context, it is aimed to discuss the effects of global climate change on foreign trade and production in Turkey. Because, as a developing and industrializing economy, Turkey is exposed to global climate change and the policy transformation of this change. The main research question is about Turkey’s position based on medium and long-term forecasts in climate change and foreign trade. In the study, SWOT analysis was used as a qualitative study method to determine the direction of change in Turkey. With the SWOT analysis, internal and external factors are discussed as the main determining variables in Turkey's climate change and international trade policies. These factors are divided into four strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats due to the structure of the analysis. In the conclusion part, the findings and policy recommendations that should be included in Turkey's medium and long-term plans are presented.
