Abstract:

In history, the flights from Asia to Europe, migrations have opened the door to new geographics to the Turks, while Turkey has become a world language. Thro the years, our ancestors, who went to Europe with wars, conquerions and conquests, established a new civilization where they went. One of these areas of civilization is the Balkans. Before the Ottoman State conquered the area and took its domination, the Avar, Uzlar, Peçenekler, Kuman Turks came to the area. Therefore, it was early for the region to meet with Turks and Turks. The Ottoman state’s five-century sovereignty in the region has made the Turkish language a cultural language in the Balkans. Today, the Turkish culture and Turkish language in the Balkans are still preserving their vitality. There are a lot of words from Turkish to Balkan languages. The main language in Turkish is Serbian with approximately 7500-8000 words. There are many Turkish words in Macedonia today. In this study, Turkisms used in the speech language in the city of Iştip (Štip), which is located within the current border of North Macedonia from the states under the administration of the former Yugoslav Republic, will be classified according to the fields of use.
