Milli şairimiz Mehmet Âkif Ersoy ile ilgili şimdiye kadar pek çok kitap ve makale kaleme alınmıştır. Hakkında ne kadar çok çalışma yapılırsa yapılsın çektiği sıkıntıların, yaşadığı problemlerin en önemlisi de içinde bulunduğu ruh halinin aktarılabilmesinin zor olacağı ortadadır.“Ağacı kurt yer, insanı dert yer”atasözünde de ifade edildiği gibi Âkif’in özellikle Mısır hayatı adeta onun ruhunu felce uğratmıştır. Sanki dört taraftan akan bir heyelanın ortasından kurtulmaya çalışan bir insan hüviyetini bürünmüştür. Yazmaktan daha da önemlisi onu anlayabilmek ve onun ruh halini hissedebilmek olmalıdır. Âkif’i anlayabilmek ve onun ruh halini hissedebilmek Âkif hakkında bir şeyler yazabilmekten daha önemli olmalıdır. Âkif’i ele alan makalelerin bir kısmı, onun on yıl kaldığı ve son derece zor şartlar altında yaşadığı Mısır’daki hayatına değinmemiş bir kısmı ise az da olsa Mısır’daki hayatını ele almıştır. Şairimizin ağırlıklı olarak Mısır’daki hayatını ele alacağımız bu yazıda kullandığımız kaynaklar arasında şu ana kadar tespit edebildiğimiz kadarıyla pek kullanılmamış bir çalışma yer almıştır. Bu çalışma da göz önüne alınarak Âkif’in Mısır’a gidiş serüveni, orada çektiği sıkıntılar, Kahire Üniversitesi’ne intisap etmesinin hikâyesi, Mısırlı dostlarının Âkif hakkında söyledikleri ve Âkif’in İstanbul’a hazin dönüşü farklı bir üslupla kaleme alınmıştır.
There have been many books and articles about our national poet Mehmet Âkif Ersoy so far. No matter how much work is done about it, it is clear that the difficulties that it is experiencing will be difficult to transfer the mood in which it is most important.“The tree is the wolf, the man is the worries,” as it is also expressed in the phrase, the life of Akih, especially Egypt, has just devastated his soul. It was like a four-sided man who tried to get rid of the midst of a heil. More important than writing, it is to be able to understand it and feel its mood. Being able to understand and feel his mood should be more important than being able to write something about the Akif. Some of the articles concerning Akihf did not refer to his life in Egypt where he lived for a decade and in extremely difficult conditions; some of them did not refer to his life in Egypt. The source we use in this article that we will mainly discuss the life of our poet in Egypt has been a very unused work to the extent we can identify so far. This study also takes into account the story of Akihf’s journey to Egypt, the difficulties he had there, the story of his enthusiasm to the University of Cairo, what his Egyptian friends said about Akihf and the return of Akihf’s treasure to Istanbul was taken in a different style.
Many books and articles have been written about our national poet Mehmet Âkif Ersoy. No matter how much work is written about him, it is obvious that it will be difficult to tell the problems he suffered from and especially transfer his feelings after the problems he experienced. As stated in the proverb “Care killed the cat”, his life in Egypt gripped Akif’s soul. He was just like a man being tried to escape from the middle of a landslide flowing from all four sides of him. For somebody else, it is more important to understand him and feel his mood than writing about him. Some of the articles dealing with Akif do not mention about his life in Egypt where he spent ten years and lived under extremely difficult conditions, but some of them discussed his life in Egypt. In this article, it is mainly focused on the life of Akif in Egypt by using some books and an underutilized source as well. In this study, it’s written in a different style that the adventure of Âkif going to Egypt, the problems he suffered there, the story of his initiation to Cairo University, the words of his Egyptian friends about Âkif and the return of Istanbul.
