Araştırmanın amacı, okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin görev yaptıkları okullardaki fen merkezleri ve fen eğitimi ile ilgili görüşlerini alarak analiz etmektir. Nitel araştırma modelinin kullanıldığı çalışmada okul öncesi öğretmenleri ile görüşmeler yapılmış ve elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz ile ortaya konulmuştur. Araştırmanın örneklemini, 2017–2018 eğitim-öğretim yılında İç Anadolunun orta büyüklülteki bir il merkezindeki 25 farklı ilkokulda görev yapan 60 okul öncesi öğretmeni oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak, okul öncesi öğretmenleri fen eğitimi ve fen merkezleri ile ilgili düşüncelerini ortaya koymak için araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulguları, okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin okullarındaki fen merkezi değerlendirmeleri ve okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin fen eğitimine bakış açıları olarak iki kategoriye ayrıldığını göstermiştir. Araştırma sonuçları, çalışmaya katılan öğretmenlerin tamamına yakınının fen eğitiminin önemine vurgu yaptıklarını fakat okullarındaki fen merkezlerini, bu dersin içeriği açısından yeterli görmediklerini ortaya koymaktadır.
The purpose of the research is to analyze the teachers of pre-school by taking their views on the science centers and science education in the schools in which they work. The study used the quality research model in which discussions were conducted with pre-school teachers and the data obtained was revealed by visual analysis. The sample of the study consists of 60 pre-school teachers working in 25 different primary schools in a medium-sized province center of the Internal Anatolia in the 2017-2018 educational-educational year. As a data collection tool, pre-school teachers have been used a form of conversation developed by the researcher to reveal their thoughts about science education and science centers. The findings of the study showed that pre-school teachers were divided into two categories as their science center assessments in their schools and pre-school teachers were divided into two categories as their views on science education. The research results show that all the teachers who participate in the study emphasized the importance of the scientific education of the close, but that the scientific centers in their schools did not see them sufficient in terms of the content of this course.
The goal of this research is to obtain the evaluations of preschool teachers about science centers in their school and science education and to analyze their views on the basis of the obtained data. The study is carried out with qualitative research method, interviews are held with preschool teachers and the obtained data are presented through descriptive analysis. Study group of this research involves a total of 60 teachers who used to work at 25 different primary schools in Sivas city center during 2017-2018 academic semesters. An interview form is designed and prepared by the researcher and it is used as data collection tool for obtaining the views of preschool teachers about science education and science centers at schools. Findings of the research are separated into two as evaluations of preschool teachers about science centers in the schools and viewpoints of preschool teachers about science education; the information separated into two groups is then analyzed in details. According to the obtained data, it can be said that almost all of the participant teachers emphasized the importance of science education, but they think that science centers at schools are highly insufficient.
