Özet:

The topic of this research is Haji Kadızâde Bekir Effendi Mansion, which is an example of civil architecture built with traditional methods, located in Korgan, the district of Ordu province. This research is trying to occur with the method of art history. This study is important in terms of transferring cultural assets to future generations, collecting and evaluating information about the construction techniques, building materials, architectural plans of civil architecture examples. The examples of civil architecture have the characteristics of the period they belong to. In this context, the main purpose of the protection of cultural heritage is to protect cultural assets with their periodical features and transfer them to the future. Haji Kadızâde Bekir Effendi Mansion, located in Korgan, the district of Ordu province, where there are not many examples of traditional residential architecture within the cultural heritage, is extremely important in terms of researching and transferring it to the future by restoration. The mansion, which is the subject of the research, consists of a ground floor and an upper floor and surrounded gardens on four sides. It is a type of plan with inner sofa. The outer walls in the ground floor are made of rubble stone masonry, and the outer walls in the upper floor are filled with stone between the wooden frames. The inner walls are bagdadi. The room doors are wooden double leaf. The sherbet and cupboards in the room, the hearths, the four-armed starry ceiling center of the main room, the sun motif ceiling center of the room in the southwest corner are quite gorgeous. Its windows are vertical sliding. The upper cover is hipped on the roof with Turkish style tiles. Nowadays, the mansion, which is in a very dilapidated and derelict situation, was recorded without being completely destroyed, and it was compared and evaluated with similar examples in terms of plan and architecture
