Bu çalışmanın amacı yabancı çocuklara (7-14 yaş grubu) Türkçe öğretmek amacıyla hazırlanan ABC Çocuklar için Türkçe Öğretim seti ders kitaplarındaki okuma metinlerinin görselleri ile bütünlüğünün ve bu metinlerdeki kültür aktarımının incelenmesidir. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman inceleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Toplanan veriler Avrupa Ortak Başvuru Metni ve Dil Portföyü incelenerek yabancı dil öğretiminde kullanılan ders kitaplarında olması gereken özellikler dikkate alınarak çalışmanın kazanım ve becerileri belirlenmiştir. Görseller ise Talim Terbiye Kurulu’nun yönetmeliğine göre analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda görsellerle metinlerin bütünlüklerinin uygun olduğu ve metinlerdeki kültür aktarımının yeterli olduğu görülmüştür.
The aim of this study is to examine the visuality, integrity and cultural transfer of the reading texts in ABC Turkish Teaching Set, prepared for teaching Turkish to foreign children ( 7-14 ages). In the study, a qualitative research method the document review, was used. The acquisitions and skills of the study were determined by examining the collected data according to the European Common Framework of Reference and the Language Portfolio by considering the characteristics of the textbooks used in foreing language teaching. The visuals were analyzed according to the regulations of the board of education. As a result of the study, it has been seen that the integrity of the images and texts are appropriate and that the cultural transfer in the text is sufficient.
