Cognitive fatigue (BY) is considered one of the factors affecting performance in exercise and sport. The purpose of this collection is to explain the concept of cognitive fatigue, how cognitive fatigue is created, how it is evaluated, and to discuss the results of the related studies and thus be able to make recommendations for future research. Therefore, the studies in literature are scaned in different databases, and the studies related to BY are described under the titles: "a) resistance performance, b) anaerobic power, maximum strength and speed performance, and c) sports-specific skills, motor and cognitive performance effects". The results showed that BY had a negative impact on exercise and sports performance. By generally, it has caused disruptions in strength, sports-specific skills, motor performance and decision-making processes but has not affected performance in maximum or maximum activities. The negative effects of BY on performance are believed to be due to an increase in detected difficulty, the distribution of the neurotransmitters in the brain and a decrease in the level of motivation. In future studies, the neurophysical changes during the cognitive work that causes BY can be more detailed and focused on how BY can eliminate its effects.
