Ziya Gökalp and Durkheim sociology and Prince Sabahaddin and Le Play Ecolü show that the sociological method "from the outside" comes to Turkey. With the spread of the concept of "social science" that Le Play Ecole defends based on its research, the village became the subject of scientific research. The fury of unclassed and uncontrolled rural works in the 1930s opened the way to the science of rural sociology in the 1940s. Shortly after the birth of the bright type of village institutes and "from the inside" viewing the villages, the village sociology achieved the expectation of the 1950s.

The Durkheim sociology with Ziya Gökalp and the Le Play School with Prince Sabahaddin show that the information about the sociological method comes from “outside”. With the spread of the understanding of “Social Science” advocated by the Le Play school based on monographs and on-site research, the village has become a subject of scientific scrutiny. In 1930s, the field of unclassified and unsupervised village studies paved the way for village sociology to become a branch of science in the 1940s. Soon a new type of intellectuals and a stream of village literature was born, which looked at the Village Institutes and the villages from the “inside”. All these developments reached the consistency expected from the 1950s on the subject of village sociology.
