Çevre sorunlarının kalıcı çözümündeki yaklaşımlarda eğitim faaliyetlerinin önemli olduğu bilinen bir gerçektir. Çevre konusunda bilinçli ve duyarlı bireyler yetiştirmek, bu sorunların çözümü için en etkili yol olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, orijinali Goldman, Yavetz, ve Pe'er (2006) tarafından geliştirilen çevre davranış ölçeğinin Türkçeye uyarlama çalışmasını yapmaktır. Ölçek, geçerlik ve güvenirliğinin saptanması amacıyla 208 fen ve teknoloji öğretmenine uygulanmıştır. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliğine ilişkin bulgular faktör analizi yöntemi ile sağlanmıştır. Türk kültürüne uygunluğu için doğrulayıcı faktör analizi (DFA) ile bakılmıştır. Ölçeğin birinci boyutu kişinin ekonomik yararına olan kaynak koruma aktiviteleri, ikinci boyutu çevreye duyarlı tüketici, üçüncü boyutu doğa ile ilgili boş zaman aktiviteleri, dördüncü boyutu geri dönüşüm çabaları, beşinci boyutu sorumlu vatandaşlık ve altıncı boyutu çevre eylemciliğidir. Ölçek 20 madde içermektedir. Ölçeğin geneli için Cronbach Alpha güvenirlik katsayısı .85 bulunurken, KEYOKKA boyutu için. 68, ÇDT boyutu için. 66, DİBZA boyutu için. 70, GDÇ boyutu için .63, SV boyutu için .68 ve ÇE boyutu için iki madde arasında korelasyon r=.57 p<.01 olarak bulunmuştur. Elde edilen sonuçlar ölçeğin Türkiye\'de de kullanılabileceğini göstermiştir.

Educational activities on a permanent solution approaches to environmental problems is a fact known to be important. Educate individuals about the conscious and sensitive to the environment, appears to be the most effective way to solve these problems. The purpose of this study is to make adaptation of environmental behavior scale which was developed by Goldman, Yavetz, and Pe'er (2006). In order to determine the reliability and validity the scale was administrated 208 science and technology teachers. The findings related to construct validity of the scale factor analysis was used. Turkish culture to the eligibility of confirmatory factor analysis (DFA) was examined. The first dimension of the scale, person with the economic benefit of resource conservation activities, the second dimension; environmentally-conscious consumers, the third dimension;, nature and leisure activities related to the fourth dimension; recycling efforts, the fifth dimension; responsible citizenship and the sixth dimension environmental activism. Scale consists of 20 items. Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient was calculated .85 for the total scale, .68 for first dimension, .66 for second dimension, .70 for third dimension, .63 for fourth dimension, .68 for fifth dimension and for environmental activism dimension corelation was calculated r=.57; p<.01 between two items. The results obtained showed that the scale can be used in Turkey
