Modern dönemlerde İslam dünyasında yaşanan siyasal ve ideolojik gelişmeleri, ana gerilim ve çatışma alanlarını, din- siyaset ekseninde yaşanan tartışmaları anlamak İslam’ın siyasallaşma süreçlerini doğru anlamayla da ilişkilidir. İslam’ın siyasallaşmasının sonucu olarak doğan İslamcılık, İslam’dan bağımsız bir ideolojik ve siyasal hareket değildir. Bu nedenle modern dönemlere özgü bir ideoloji formu taşıyan İslamcılığın nasıl olup da bir dinden bir ideoloji formuna dönüştüğünü anlamak açısından da biraz tarihsel sürece yoğunlaşmak açıklayıcı olacaktır. Bu çalışmada İslamcılığı anlamaya yardımcı olması bakımından İslam’ın siyasallaşma süreci ve İslamcılığın varoluş kökenleri araştırılmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu bağlamda 18. ve 19. Yüzyıllarda İslam dünyasının karşı karşıya kaldığı krizlerin ürettiği siyasi, askeri ve sosyal hareketler incelenmiş, bu hareketlerin İslam’ın siyasallaşmasına olan etkileri araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada İslamı siyasal bir harekete dönüştüren olaylar ve bu olaylar karşısında dini kesimlerin ortaya koyduğu tepkiler incelenmiştir. İslam 18. Ve 19. Yüzyıllarda İslam dünyasının karşı karşıya kaldığı olaylar sonucu bir din olmanın yanı sıra siyasal bir harekete de dönüşmeye başlamıştır. Özellikle batılıların İslam dünyasına yönelik fiili ve kültürel saldırıları İslam dünyasında bir savunma hattı doğurmuş, gerek askeri gerekse kültürel saldırılar karşısında oluşturulan savunma hattı zamanla İslam’a dayalı siyasal tezlere kaynaklık etmiştir. Bu bağlamda İslam dünyasının bir çok bölgesindeki” İslami Direniş Hareketleri” ve kültürel saldırılara karşı üretilen savunmalar modern dönemin İslamcılık düşüncesi ve İslami hareketlerin temellerini oluşturmuştur. Batılı ülkelerin işgal ve sömürgeleştirme teşebbüslerine karşı oluşan direniş hareketlerinin yanı sıra Ernest Renan’ın “İslam ve Bilim “konferansından sonra oluşan “Reddiye” geleneği giderek İslam’ın siyasal bir programa dönüşmesine kaynaklık etmiştir.
Understanding the political and ideological developments in the Islamic world in modern times, the main areas of tension and conflict, the discussions in the religious-political axis, is also related to the correct understanding of the processes of politisation of Islam. Islamism, which is born as a result of the politicalization of Islam, is not an ideological and political movement independent of Islam. Therefore, it will be explicit to focus on a little historical process in terms of understanding how Islamism, which has a form of ideology that is unique to modern times, has become a form of ideology from a religion. In this study, it was attempted to explore the process of politization of Islam and the origins of Islamism in terms of helping to understand Islamism. 18 and 19 in this context. The political, military and social movements produced by the crises faced by the Islamic world over the centuries have been studied, and the effects of these movements on the politization of Islam have been studied. The study examined the events that transformed Islam into a political movement and the reactions of religious sections to these events. The Islamic 18. and 19. As a result of the events that the Islamic world has faced over the centuries, it has also begun to become a religion as well as a political movement. The actual and cultural attacks of the Western people on the Islamic world have created a line of defence in the Islamic world, and the line of defence against military and cultural attacks has given rise to political theses based on Islam over time. In this context, the "Islamic Resistance Movements" and the defences produced against cultural attacks in many regions of the Islamic world have formed the foundation of the modern Islamic thought and Islamic movements. In addition to the resistance movements formed against the Occupation and colonization attempts of Western countries, the "Reddiye" tradition formed after Ernest Renan's "Islam and Science" conference has increasingly led to the transformation of Islam into a political program.
