Bu çalışma, engellilik algısını ölçmeyi ve mevcut olumsuz algıya ilişkin farkındalık yaratacak önerilerde bulunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma ağırlıklı olarak engelli bireylerin toplumsal yaşamda karşılaştıkları problemler ve sosyal dışlanmayı konu edinmekle birlikte üniversite öğrencilerinin engellilik algısı üzerinde odaklanmaktadır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, üniversite öğrencilerinin engellilik algısı genel anlamda vasat düzeydedir. Engelli bireylere yönelik uygulamaların genel anlamda engellilik algısını olumlu yönde farklılaştırdığı ve özellikle kamu spotlarının engellilik algısı üzerinde olumlu sonuçları olduğuna ilişkin bulgular saptanmıştır.
This study aims to measure the perception of disability and make suggestions that will raise awareness of the existing negative perception. The research focuses primarily on the problems and social exclusion faced by disabled individuals in social life, while focuses on the perception of disability of university students.
