Bu çalışmanın amacı Öğrenen Güçlenmesi Ölçeğini (ÖGÖ) Türk kültürüne uyarlamak ve uyarlanan ölçeğin psikometrik özelliklerini incelemektir. Ölçeğin Türkçe formu, öncelikle 271 üniversite öğrencisine uygulanmış ve toplanan veriler ölçeğin faktör yapısını incelemek üzere açımlayıcı faktör analizinde (AFA) kullanılmıştır. AFA sonuçları, toplam varyansın %65.26’sını açıklayan ve ölçeğin özgün haline benzeyen üç faktörlü bir yapı ortaya koymuştur. Ancak, 12 madde gerekli ölçütleri sağlayamadığı için ölçekten çıkarılmıştır. Çalışmanın ikinci aşamasında, ölçeğin bu formu, AFA’da gözlemlenen faktör yapısını doğrulayıcı faktör analizi (DFA) kullanarak doğrulamak amacıyla 247 üniversite öğrencisine uygulanmıştır. DFA sonuçları, açımlayıcı faktör analizinin ortaya koymuş olduğu modelin Türk kültürü için doğrulandığını göstermiştir. ÖGÖ’nün üç alt boyutu bulunmaktadır; Etki (10 madde, α = .90) Anlamlılık (7 madde, α = .90), ve Yeterlilik (6 madde, α = .88). Bu bulgulara dayanarak, Öğrenen Güçlenmesi Ölçeğinin Türk üniversite öğrencilerinin bir ders ortamındaki öğrenen güçlenmesi düzeyini anlamlılık, etki ve yeterlilik boyutları açısından değerlendirmeye yönelik geçerli ve güvenilir ölçümler sağlayabildiği sonucuna varılmıştır.
