Bu çalışmanın amacı Rusya’da Hristiyanlık kabul edildikten sonra yasaklanan putperestliğin 20. yüzyıla kadar varlığını inceleyerek dvoeverie kavramının Rusya’daki yansımalarını ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmanın başlangıcında Slav topluluklarının inanç sisteminin ana kaynağı olan Slav mitolojisi ve dini belli başlı özellikleriyle ifade edilmiştir. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde ise Hristiyanlık sürecinde kesin bir şekilde yasaklanmış olan ve çeşitli işkence ve ölüm cezalarıyla önlenmeye çalışılan büyücülük faaliyetleri incelenmiştir. Yazının son bölümünde ise çeşitli Slav tanrı ve tanrıçaları ile Rus Azizlerinin benzer özellikleri konusunda çeşitli bilgiler verilerek, Rus toplumu ve kilisesi irdelenmiştir. Bununla beraber, Hristiyanlıktan sonra da eski pagan kültürünün bu din içinde yeni anlamlar kazanarak varlığını sürdürmesi üzerine tartışılmıştır.
The aim of this study is to reveal the reflections of the concept of dvoeverie in Russia by studying the existence of the prohibited putperism after the acceptance of Christianity in Russia until the 20th century. At the beginning of the study, the Slavic mythology and religion, which is the main source of the faith system of Slavic communities, were expressed with certain main characteristics. The second part of the study examined the magic activities that were strictly prohibited in the process of Christianity and attempted to prevent by various torture and death penalty. In the last part of the article, the various Slav gods and goddesses and the similar characteristics of the Russian saints were given various information, and the Russian society and the church were discussed. However, after Christianity, it has been discussed that the ancient pagan culture continues to exist in this religion by acquiring new meanings.
