Bu çalışma takım sporlarından hentbol ve voleybol sporu yapan kız ve erkek öğrencilerin algısal motor becerilerinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya İstanbul’da ikamet eden, voleybol (n=21) ve hentbol (n=25) sporu yapan toplam 46 kız ve erkek öğrenci gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Çalışmada Önceleme/Sezinleme Zamanı Cihazı (Bassin Anticipation Timer, Lafayette Instrument Company Model 50575), Çivileme Testi Ölçüm Cihazı (Purdue Pegboard Test Lafayette Model 32020), Yıldız Testi Ölçüm Cihazı (Two Arm Coordination Test Lafayette Model 35532) testleri kullanılmıştır. Sonuçların analizinde katılımcı test değerlerinin normal dağılım gösterip göstermediğini belirlemek için Shapiro Wilk testi kullanılmıştır. Bu testin sonucunda veriler normal dağılım göstermediğinden non-parametrik testlerin kullanımı uygun görülmüştür. Gruplar arası farklılığı belirlemek için Mann Whitney-U testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda hentbol spor dalındaki öğrencilerin yıldız testi değerleri arasında cinsiyete göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Buna karşılık voleybol spor dalındaki öğrencilerin yıldız testi değerleri cinsiyete göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark göstermiştir. (p>0.05). Hentbol spor dalındaki öğrencilerin önceleme testi değerlerinde ise cinsiyete göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark bulunmamıştır. Ancak voleybol sporu yapan öğrencilerin önceleme testi ortalama değerlerinde erkek sporcular lehine istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. Algısal motor beceriler özellikle erken çocukluk döneminden itibaren geliştirilmesi gereken becerilerdir. Araştırmamızda ortaya çıkan sonuçlar göz önünde bulundurulduğunda yapılan spor dalı ve cinsiyete göre bu beceriler arasında farklılıklar görülebilmektedir. Bu becerilerin etkin şekilde geliştirilmesi, çocukların spor dalı seçimi ve sportif hayatlarında antrenmanlardan maksimum verim alabilmeleri açısından önem taşımaktadır. Bu bağlamda antrenörler ve beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin çocuklarda algısal motor becerilerin gelişimine uygun araç ve yöntemlerle uygulamalar yapmaları ve beceri gelişimlerinin düzenli olarak takip edilmesi önerilebilir.
This study was conducted with the aim of studying the perceptive motor skills of girls and boys who do hockey and volleyball sports from team sports. The study included a total of 46 girls and boys who lived in Istanbul, voleybol (n=21) and hentbol (n=25) sports voluntarily. The study used the test of the Basin Anticipation Timer (Bassin Anticipation Timer, Lafayette Instrument Company Model 50575), the Purdue Pegboard Test Lafayette Model 32020 and the Star Test Measurement (Two Arm Coordination Test Lafayette Model 35532). In the analysis of the results, the Shapiro Wilk test was used to determine whether the participants’ test values show normal distribution. The results of this test found that the use of non-parametric tests was appropriate because the data did not show normal distribution. The Mann Whitney-U test was used to determine the differences between the groups. The study found that there was no statistically meaningful difference between the star test values of students in the field of hentai sports. In contrast, the star test values of students in the volley sports showed statistically significant differences according to gender. by p>0.05 Students in Hentbol sports have not found a statistically significant difference in the priority test values. However, the priority test of the students who do volleyball sports found a statistically significant difference in the average values in favor of the male athletes. Perceptive motor skills are skills that need to be developed especially from early childhood. When we take into account the results of our research, differences between these skills can be seen depending on the sporting branch and gender. Effectively developing these skills is important for children to choose sporting fields and get the maximum outcome from training in their sports life. In this context, coaches and body training teachers may be advised to practice with tools and methods suitable for the development of perceptive motor skills in children and to regularly monitor their development of skills.
