Abstract:

This study aims to study whether the group guidance program affects the levels of occupational extinction, integration and parental extinction of working mothers with disabled children. The research group of this study, which was used in the full (real) experimental design with the unselective pattern of the control group, consisted of 26 people who were unselectively assigned to the control group, the experiment (13 persons) and the control group (13 persons) between the working mothers with a disabled child between 3-16 years of age, which was educational assessment and recognition by the Guidelines and Research Center in the districts of Selçuklu, Meram and Karatay. As a data collection tool in the study, the extinction scale-short form (TÖ-KF), the extinction scale-short form (ETÖ-KF), the extinction scale of integration with the work (Utrecth) and the "Personal Information Form" created by the researchers were used. The experimental group was applied a group guidance program prepared by the researchers for 10 weeks, with a total of 10 sessions, one time a week, 90 minutes for each session. With the control group, there was no deal. The SPSS 16.0 package program was used for statistical analysis of the data obtained from the research. In the analysis of the data, the group guidance program was used to study whether the working mothers with a disabled child had an impact on the levels of occupational extinction, integration and parental extinction, the Shapiro-Wilk test, the t test for dependent and independent groups, the Levene test to test the homogeneity of variants and the Covaryance Analysis (ANCOVA). According to the results of the Kovaryans analysis, there was a significant difference between the average points they received from the corrected estest according to the matters' professional outputs and parental outputs, and there was no significant difference between the average points they received from the corrected estest according to the work-integration estest. It is also found that the long-term (Long-Lasting) effect of the group guidance program continues 2 months (8 weeks) after the experiment is completed.
