Çalışmada, Azerbaycan Türk Cumhuriyeti’nin Batı Bölgesi’nde yer alan antik Şamkir kentinde 2006-2019 yılları arasında yapılan arkeolojik kazılar sonucu ortaya çıkarılan, zoomorfik ve antropomorfik motiflere sahip Selçuklu dönemine ait çok renkli boyalı sgraffito seramik kap örnekleri değerlendirilmiştir. Seramikler kaplar üzerinde kazıma tekniğinin yanı sıra yeşil, sarı, hardal, kestane renkleri ve ayrıca astar görevi gören beyaz angob boya kullanılmıştır. Birçok örnekte çevresinde bitkisel süslemelerin yer aldığı figürlerin seramik kapların iç kısmında ve kompozisyonun tam ortasında tasvir edildiği görülmektedir. Seramikler üzerinde yer alan süslemelerde en çok kuş tasvirleri yer almaktadır. Süslemelerde kuş figürlerinin yanı sıra geyik, at, aslan, kaplan vb. hayvanlara ait tasvirleri de yer alır. Kompozisyonlarda ejder ile dövüşen savaşçı tasviri dışında doğruda bir olayı anlatan tasvirlerin neredeyse yok denilecek kadar az olduğu görülür. Zoomorfik ve antropomorfik motiflere sahip çok renkli sırlı seramik çanak çömlekler üzerinde yer alan süsleme ve figürler Selçuklu döneminin ruhunu, sosyal-kültürel, dini-ahlaki, felsefi yönlerini ve estetik anlayışını yansıtır.
In the study, many-colored painted sgraffito ceramic containers from the Selçuklu period with zoomorphic and anthropomorphic motifs, which were discovered as a result of archaeological excavations in the ancient town of Shamkir, located in the western region of the Turkish Republic of Azerbaijan between 2006 and 2019, were evaluated. The ceramics have been used in the grabbing technique on the containers as well as green, yellow, hardal, castan colors and also white angob paint, which is the role of the astar. In many examples, the figures surrounding plant decorations appear to be depicted in the inner part of the ceramic containers and in the middle of the composition. There are most of the birds on the ceramics. In the decorations, as well as the bird figures as well as the horse, horse, lion, tiger, etc. There are also pictures of the animals. In the compositions, except the fighter picture that fights with the dragon, it appears that the images that tell an incident directly are almost disappeared enough to say. Decorations and figures on the multi-colored secret ceramic cranes with zoomorphic and anthropomorphic motifs reflect the spirit of the Selchuklu era, the social-cultural, religious-moral, philosophical aspects and aesthetic understanding.
In the study, multicolored painted sgraffito ceramic pot samples from the Seljuk period with zoomorphic and anthropomorphic motifs, which were unearthed as a result of archaeological excavations in the ancient city of Şamkir, located in the western region of the Turkish Republic of Azerbaijan, were evaluated. In addition to the scraping technique, green, yellow, mustard, chestnut colors and also white angob paint, which serves as a lining, were used on the ceramics. In many examples, it is seen that the figures with herbal ornaments around them are depicted inside the ceramic vessels and in the middle of the composition. Bird depictions are the most common ornaments on the ceramics. In addition to bird figures, there are also depictions of deer, horses, lions and tigers in the decorations. Apart from the depiction of a warrior fighting with a dragon, it is seen that there are almost no depictions of an event in the compositions. The ornaments and figures on the multicolored glazed ceramic pottery with zoomorphic and anthropomorphic motifs reflect the spirit, social-cultural, religious-moral, philosophical aspects and aesthetic understanding of the Seljuk period.
