This article focuses on recent reform projects of the German law relating to associations. There are eventually two bills relating to associations in Germany. The 2004 bill, proposed by Federal Ministry of Justice, and the 2006 bill, proposed by German Federal State of BadenWürttemberg. These two separate bills are aimed at modernizing the rules and consepts relating to associations in the German Civil Code, Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch, took place on August 18, 1896, but it took effect on the first of January, 1900. The proposed bills deal with private associations law only, and excludes public associations law. This article reviews and synthesizes the bills and the literature that has been published in Germany on the proposed rules, especially on them that are intented to establish reclassification of associations
