Abstract:

This research aims to determine the attitude levels of the students studying at the Faculty of Health Sciences regarding the online creative drama method and their opinions regarding the online course. In the research patterned as a mixed model, 13 weeks of creative drama work was applied with 40 students. Creative drama sessions were applied for 26 hours during the 2021-2022 academic year, totaling 13 weeks during a course period. At the end of the drama study, 40 students were given an evaluation at the end of the course, interview form, attitude scale for creative drama, and attitude scale for distance learning to determine the contribution of the creative drama course. Content analysis was used in the analysis of qualitative data obtained in the research. Statistical analyses were used in the analysis of quantitative data. The research findings stated that creative drama is very effective in students expressing themselves better. They listen to lessons more motivating way because they are actively involved in the process rather than constantly listening to passive lessons in distance education. At the same time, the participants stated that they expect the lesson to come every week and feel good about themselves.
