Üniversiteler şehrin ekonomisini canlandırmasının yanı sıra yeni ticari kazanç kapıları da oluşturmaktadır. Farklı şehirlerden bir araya gelen öğrenciler hem kültür çeşitliliği hem de ekonomik katkı sağlamaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı; Üniversite son sınıf hemşirelik öğrencilerinin yıllık harcamaları analiz edilerek bölge ekonomisine katkılarını belirlenmeye çalışmaktır. Araştırmada evrenin tamamına ulaşılmaya çalışılmış, veri toplama aracı olarak anket yöntemi tercih edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin harcama miktarlarının tespit edilmesine yönelik sorular, özellikle açık uçlu bırakılmış ve bu sayede harcama miktarları tam tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışma sonuçlarına göre; Hemşirelik son sınıf öğrencilerin 2018–2019 eğitim-öğretim yılı harcama dağılımına göre toplam harcama tutarı 240.970,00₺’dir. Öğrencilerin yapmış olduğu en yüksek harcama kalemi 100.652,00₺ ile “eğlence”, en düşük harcama kalemi olarak da 55.398,00₺ ile kırtasiye gideri olduğu belirlenmiştir. Üniversitede okuyan toplam öğrenci sayısı 47361 (yüksek lisan, doktora hariç) kişidir. İlde sekiz ay bulundukları varsayımıyla toplamda il ekonomisine yaklaşık olarak bir yılda yiyecek, eğlence ve kırtasiye olarak, 8.392.369₺’lik katkı sağladığı tespit edilmiştir.
In addition to the city’s economy, universities also create new doors for commercial profits. Students gathered from different cities provide both cultural diversity and economic contribution. The purpose of the study is to analyze the annual expenditure of the University’s latter-class nursing students to determine their contribution to the region’s economy. In the research, the survey method was preferred as a data collection tool, which was attempted to reach the entire universe. Questions on the determination of the student’s spending amounts, especially, were left open and so the spending amounts were tried to be fully identified. According to the study results; the total spending amount according to the 2018-2019 educational year expenditure distribution of nursing final class students is 240. It is 970.00 The highest spending pen that students have done is 100.652,00.00 with "play" and the lowest spending pen is 55.398,00.00 with land spending. The total number of students studying at the university is 47361 people (except for graduate, doctorate). According to the estimate that they have eight months in the province, the total contribution to the province economy is estimated to be approximately a year for food, entertainment and landscape, with a total of 8,392,369 ₪.

The questions regarding the determination of the expenditure amounts of the students were left open-ended in particular, and thus, the expenditure amounts were tried to be determined exactly. According to the results of the study; According to the 2018-2019 academic year expenditure distribution of nursing senior students, the total amount of expenditure is 240,970,00₺. It was determined that the highest expenditure item made by the students was "entertainment" with 100,652.00₺, and the lowest expense item was stationery with 55,398.00₺. The total number of students studying at the university is 47361 (excluding master's and doctorate). Assuming that they were in the province for eight months, it was determined that they contributed 8,392,369₺ to the provincial economy in approximately one year in terms of food, entertainment and stationery.
