Abstract:

Special training is defined as a type of training provided by specialized educators according to individual training programmes in environments organized in accordance with the types of obstacles of individuals in need of this service. The special educational student is the most important stakeholder in the development process along with the school, the family, and according to the results of the research, the education given to children begins in the mother's stomach and the process of becoming a role model has passed into life with birth. In this study, the parents discussed the teaching roles in the distance education process, the Covid-19 epidemic that occurs throughout the world, the distance education process started in our country, the mother and father who performed the teaching roles and what situations they encounter when performing the teaching roles. In the research methods of quality research has been used the situation study design. The research work group consists of 15 teachers who have special education students/children and who agree to participate voluntarily in our research in the 2020-2021 educational year in the Istanbul Kartal district’s private educational schools and private educational classes. The data in the study was obtained using the semi-configured conversation technique and the data collected was analyzed using the content analysis technique. According to the answers of the ancestors to the questions addressed to them, visual statistics, themes and codes were created. The topics and codes were first referred to the expert opinions, and then made the report according to the expert opinions. The findings have been transformed into tables and interpreted.The research has found that special educational guardians experience ignorance, confusion and insufficiency while performing their teaching roles in the distance learning process starting from March 2020.
