Bu çalışmanın amacı 2018 yılında eğitim fakültelerinde uygulamaya konulan okul öncesi öğretmenliği lisans programını 1997 ve 2006 lisans programları ile karşılaştırmalı olarak incelemektir. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan doküman analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Yükseköğretim Kurulu tarafından oluşturulan 1997, 2006 ve 2018 okul öncesi öğretmenliği lisans programları incelenmiştir. Elde edilen bulguların çözümlenmesinde betimsel analiz tekniği kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda 2018 okul öncesi öğretmenliği lisans programının 1997 ve 2006 programları ile farklılık gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. 2018 okul öncesi öğretmenliği lisans programında yer alan zorunlu alan eğitimi ders sayısı ve toplam ders saatleri geçmişten günümüze doğru azalmaktadır. Özellikle 2018 lisans programlarında uygulamalı ders saatlerinin önceki programlara göre azaltıldığı ve önceki programlarda MB, GK ve AE kategorilerinde yer alan bazı derslerin 2018 programında kategorilerinin değiştirildiği görülmüştür. 1997 ve 2006 programlarında zorunlu ders kategorisinde yer alan bazı dersler 2018 lisans programında seçmeli ders kategorisine alınmıştır. Önceki programlarda yer alan bazı dersler isim ve içeriklerinde değişiklikler yapılarak 2018 lisans programında yerini almıştır. Seçmeli ders çeşitliliğinin ise 2018 lisans programlarında arttırıldığı görülmektedir.
The aim of this study is to compare the pre-school teaching bachelor’s program to the 1997 and 2006 bachelor’s programmes implemented in the educational faculty in 2018. The method of document analysis, which is one of the quality research methods, was used in the study. The research has been studied in 1997, 2006 and 2018 pre-school teaching bachelor’s programs created by the Higher Education Council as a data collection tool. Imaginary analysis techniques are used for the analysis of the findings obtained. The study found that the 2018 pre-school teaching bachelor’s program differs from the 1997 and 2006 programs. The number of required field education courses included in the 2018 Pre-School Teaching Bachelor program and the total course hours are reduced from the past to the present day. In particular in the 2018 bachelor’s programs, the applied course hours were reduced compared to the previous programs and the categories of some courses included in the MB, GK and AE categories in the previous programs were changed in the 2018 program. Some courses included in the compulsory course category in the 1997 and 2006 programs have been included in the 2018 Bachelor's Selective Course category. Some of the courses included in the previous programs have been replaced in the 2018 bachelor’s program by making changes in names and content. The variety of selectively taught courses is seen to be increased in the 2018 bachelor’s programs.
The present study aimed to comparatively analyze the undergraduate preschool instruction curriculum, introduced in 2018 in teacher training institutions, and the 1997 and 2006 undergraduate curricula. The document analysis method, a qualitative research approach, was employed in the study. The 1997, 2006 and 2018 undergraduate preschool instruction curricula developed by the Council of Higher Education were employed as the data collection instruments. Descriptive analysis technique was adopted to analyze the findings. The study findings demonstrated that the 2018 undergraduate preschool instruction curriculum differed from the 1997 and 2006 curricula. The number of compulsory field courses and total course hours in the 2018 undergraduate preschool instruction curriculum was lower when compared to the previous curricula. Especially in the 2018 undergraduate curriculum, it was observed that the applied course hours were lower when compared to previous programs, and the categories of certain courses included in the MB, GK and AE categories the previous programs were altered in the 2018 curriculum. Certain compulsory courses in the 1997 and 2006 curricula were included in the elective course category in the 2018 undergraduate curriculum. The names and content of certain the courses were changes in the 2018 undergraduate curriculum. It was observed that the number of elective courses was increased in 2018 undergraduate curriculum.
