Abstract:

Nazan Bekiroğlu is one of the leading poems of modern Turkish romanticism and historianism. His works have rich enough content to be read from different points of view. Intertext reading is just one of these approaches. Intertext has become a method that has been frequently used in text analysis in recent years. Based on postmodernism, text interdiscipline is a method of text analysis developed by many linguistic scientists such as M. Riffaterre, R. Barthes, G. Genette, primarily J. Kristeva. In this study, Bekiroğlu's novel "Name and Fire Between" was studied in the context of intertext relationships, the historical posts of the work were tried to be identified. As a result of the assessments made for this purpose, it can be expressed that on the one hand the Ottoman state’s stop and retreat periods are presented from the individual’s point of view and the effect of the philosophy and Bekiroğlu’s speech is felt. The work has an important place in the Turkish romanticism of the last period because it reflects the events that have occurred in that period with a very sound fictional attitude.
