Günümüzde Türk Sinemasına yaklaşım biçimleri incelendiğinde taşranın sorunsallaştırılan bir kavram haline geldiği görülmektedir. Bunda özellikle 1990’lı yıllardan sonra yapılan filmlerde filmlerin çekildiği mekânlar ve bu mekânlardan kaynaklı anlatılar, taşranın imlediği ruh halinin merkezi bir öneme sahip olmasının büyük bir katkısı vardır. Yeni Türk Sineması olarak tanımlanan 90’lı yılların ikinci yarısından sonraki süreci kapsayan dönemde ise taşra anlatılarında niceliksel bir artış ve bakış açısı değişikliği oluşmuştur. Popüler Sinemadan eleştirel politik filmlere ve sanat filmlerine kadar geniş bir yelpazede taşranın ele alınmasının nedeni nedir? Bu çalışma; Yeni Türk Sinemasının taşra anlatılarına yönelmesinin ardında yatan sosyolojik ve felsefi nedenleri ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Taşrayı konu alan ve taşrada geçen bu filmlerde, taşranın estetik bir form olarak üretilmesinin bir diğer deyişle taşranın sinematografik bir anlatım formu olarak gelişmesinin sebepleri üzerine düşünce üretmeyi hedeflemektedir. Bu bağlamda çalışma 1990'lı yıllardan günümüze kadar çekilmiş çok sayıda taşra filmini sosyolojik ve felsefi perspektiften sınıflandırmaktadır. Taşraya olan yaklaşımdaki farklılığın ardındaki anlam dünyası nedir? Taşrayı konu alan ve taşrada geçen çok sayıda film üretilmesinin nedenleri nedir? Bu filmlerin 50'si doğrudan taşrayı konu alan ve taşrada geçen, diğerleri taşrada geçmese bile karakter, mekân ya da anlatısal öğelerle taşranın, filmin anlam dünyasına önemli katkı sağladığı filmlerdir. Bu sınıflandırma üzerinden; taşranın merkezi bir konuma yerleşmesi ve nicelik olarak artıştan doğan taşra sorunsalının nedenleri üzerine anlamlı çıkarımlar ortaya koymayı hedeflemektedir.
Today, when the approach to the Turkish Cinema is studied, it seems that the tachran has become a problematized concept. In this, especially in the films made after the 1990s, the places where the films were drawn and the stories from these places have a great contribution to the central importance of the mood that the thriller produced. In the period covering the process after the second half of the 90s, which is defined as the New Turkish Cinema, a quantitative increase and a change in viewpoint has occurred. What is the reason for a wide range of scenes from popular cinema to critical political films and art films? This study aims to reveal the sociological and philosophical reasons behind the New Turkish Cinema’s directing to the thrill stories. In these films on the subject of the Taşray and on the subject of the Taşray, it aims to produce thought on the reasons for the development of the Taşray as an aesthetic form, in other words, the Taşray as a cinematographic narrative form. In this context, the study classifies the numerous cast films taken from the 1990s to the present day from a sociological and philosophical perspective. What is the meaning of the world behind the difference in the approach to the Taşra? What is the reason why many films have been produced and produced? 50 of these films are films that are directly the subject of the film and pass in the film, and the others, even if they do not pass in the film, with characters, spaces or narrative elements, the film has made a significant contribution to the meaning world. Through this classification, it aims to find meaningful outcomes on the causes of the problem of the plant in a central position and quantity increase.
Today, it is seen that the periphery has become a problematized concept while the approaches to Turkish cinema are examined. Especially in the movies made after the 1990s, the places where the movies shot, the narratives based upon that places and having the central importance of the mood implying by periphery have had a great contribution. In the period of the second half of the 1990s a quantitative increase and a change of perspective have occurred in the narrative of the periphery. What is the reason addressing periphery at the wide range from popular cinema to critical politic movies and art movies? This study aims to reveal the sociological and philosophical reasons which underlies the tending of New Turkish Cinema towards the periphery narratives. This study also aims to produce a conception on the reasons of the production of the periphery as an aesthetic form, in other words, the development of the periphery as a cinematographic narrative form in these films in which the subject and the place is periphery. In this context, the study has been classified many provincial films shot since the late 1990s until today through the sociological and philosophical perspective. 50 of these films are directly related to the provincial life and take place in the periphery, the others are films in which periphery significantly contributes to the semantic world of the films through the character, place or narrative elements although their stories have not been set in the periphery. Through this classification it aims to reveal meaningful inferences on the reasons of the settling of the periphery on the central position and periphery problematic arising from the increase in quantity.
