Abstract:

Bu araştırma Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenlerinin empatik becerilerini bazı değişkenlere göre durumunu belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmada, Tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini 2010-2011 Eğitim-Öğretim yılında Erzurum İli, Aziziye, Palandöken ve Yakutiye ilçelerinde görev yapan Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenlerinin empatik becerilerini bazı değişkenlere göre incelemek amacıyla Dökmen (1988) tarafından geliştirilen Empati Eğilim Ölçeği (EEÖ) kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler amaçlarına uygun olarak SSPS’ de aritmetik ortalama (X), Kruskal Wallis Testi ve t-testi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Bulgulara göre, Soysal Bilgiler öğretmenlerinin empati beceri puan ortalamaları cinsiyet, öğrenim durum, mesleki kıdem, son bitirilen alan (öğretmenlikte/meslekte esas alınan), empati ile ilgili hizmet içi eğitim kursuna katılma değişkenine göre farklılık göstermemektedir

Abstract:

This research was conducted with the aim of determining the empathic skills of social knowledge teachers according to certain variables. In the study, the screening model was used. The universe of research is formed by teachers of Social Information who work in the districts of Erzurum, Aziziye, Palandöken and Yakutiye in the Education-Teaching year 2010-2011. The study used the Empathy Trend Scale (EEO) developed by Dökmen (1988) in order to study the empathic skills of social information teachers according to certain variables. The data obtained in the study was analyzed in SSPS using the arithmetic average (X), the Kruskal Wallis Test and the T-Test in accordance with the purposes. According to the findings, the empathy skill scores of the Teachers of Social Information are not different by gender, study status, vocational status, final completed field (based on teaching/professional), empathy related service training course participation variable
