Abstract:

The objective of this study is to develop a available valid and reliable measurement tool that can measure the attitudes of high school students towards harassment and to study the relationship between gender and age of their attitudes towards harassment. The study group consists of 1064 students.  In the framework of the structure validity, the Opening Factor Analysis (AFA) has been implemented and the scale is found to be compatible with the structure of a single factor of 12 matters and has 4.42 equations. The variance rate that the single-factor structure reveals is 36.85%. As a result of the application of verifying factor analysis (DFA), it has been determined that the 12 substance scale has good compatibility values. In the framework of the measurement-related validity study, the measurement of attitude towards violence (SHYTÖ) and the measurement of reactive-proactive aggression (PRSÖ) were used. The correlation values were found as .35 for SHYTÖ and .38 for PRSÖ respectively. The internal consistency ratio of the ZTÖ is .84 and the two-half test reliability is .80. A positive, high level and meaningful relationship has been achieved between the first test and last test points of the ZTÖ. These findings show that the ZTÖ is a reliable and stable measurement tool that can be in time. Finally, the scale has been studied whether it differs according to gender and age and the conclusion has been achieved is that the ZTO does not make a significant difference according to gender and age variable.
