Abstract:

Purpose - In this study, the studies under the national summer framework were studied by the meta-analysis method to determine the backgrounds of leadership confidence. Method - Unlimited for any year when determining the studies to be included in the research; determined keywords are scaned in the database of Ulakbim TR Dizin, YÖK National Thesis Center, Science Direct, Ebsco, Springer, Web of Science and Jstor. Accessible publications have been analyzed with the Comprehensive Meta Analysis (CMA) 3.0 statistical package program. Results - The analysis of 11219 individual data obtained from 15 different studies confirmed the established hypotheses that trust in the leader is positive with work satisfaction, organizational commitment, emotional commitment, normative commitment and continuous commitment; the intention of leaving the job and organizational silence are negative. The studies in which all the hypotheses were tested were in heterogeneous structure and the impact sizes under the random effects model were at a medium and strong level. Debate - According to the results obtained, a collective assessment was made within the framework of the national summer for the leadership to work on the change of confidence. The fact that employees who trust their leaders bring with them positive outcomes from an individual and organizational point of view can be considered important data for managers.
