Abstract:

The verses of Qur’an do not only set sources for the fields such as doctrines, worships and morals of İslam but they also they are each a treasury from which poets and literary men benefit from the holy verse texts, in which they frequently apply for so as to produce new meanings, and where they are fed by formation of their literary skills and imaginations. When the Arab literature sources are scanned, it attracts attention that different topics, various meanings and based usages of some certain verses come forward. One of the verses that makes the frame of this study is surah Ibrahim-37. As far as determined, the fact that there are not these kinds of works sufficiently in the academic world of our country in particular Arab Language and rhetoric canalized us to compile and analyse the literary material developing in the axis of the passage of a single verse even a certain verse. The above mentioned verse that has a wide application field in poetry compared to literary genre of prose has been frequently applied in terms of producing new meanings and in some examples, this verse has been successfully used as a metaphorical and allusion expression which are a method of closed retelling. This article studies some certain poetry and prose examples in the axis of surah Ibrahim-37 in a detailed analytical framework.
