In order to avoid jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court, Turkey should, whether it becomes a party to the Rome Statute or not, have effective domestic legislation on crimes within the Court’s jurisdiction. Turkey’s accession to Rome Statute greatly depends on level of its struggle against terrorism and the completion of domestic legislation. This article briefly explains crimes within the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court and their possible effects on Turkey
