The Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court was accepted on 17 July 1998 after a long term negotiation process. At the end of the Rome Diplomatic Conference 120 state voted in favour, 7 voted against and 21 abstained. Turkey abstained, as well. Some legal and political anxieties over Iernational Criminal Court affected Turkish position to Statute. In this paper, these legal and political problems, Turkey would face, in the context of International Criminal Court will be discussed
