Türk süsleme sanatlarında bezeme konuları oldukça çeşitlilik arz etmektedir. Hayvansal, yazılı, mimari, nesnel, sembolik şeklinde sınıflandırılan bezemeler arasında hayvan figürlü olanlar tarihin her döneminde, geleneksel Türk sanatının birçok dalında sevilerek kullanılmıştır. Kadınlar; korku, üzüntü, öç alma, gelenek, süsleme vb. nedenlerle çeşitli hayvan şekillerini dokudukları ürünlere işlemiştir. Duygu ve düşüncelerin şekillenmesinde de çok önemli bir yer tutan hayvanlar halıların dili olmuştur.
Türk halı sanatında gerçek hayvanlardan ve gerçekdışı varlıklardan yoğun bir şekilde söz edilmektedir. Mitolojik ya da hayali canlı olarak adlandırılan, halılarda sıklıkla tasvir edilen efsanevî hayvanlardan birisi de ejderdir. Ejder motifinin Anadolu dokumalarında kullanılması oldukça eski tarihlere dayanmaktadır. Milletimizin geçmiş çağlardaki inançlarını ve yaşam felsefesini yansıtan bu motif birçok kültür tarafından benimsenmiş ve farklı şekillerde dokumalara aktarılmıştır.
Bu araştırma ejderha motifli halılar hakkında bilgi sahibi olmak açısından büyük önem taşımaktadır. Çalışmada; Anadolu halı motiflerinde mitik dönemin anılarını, izlerini yansıtan ejderha motifi üzerinde durulacak, ejderhanın hangi anlam ve amaçlarla Anadolu halılarında motif olarak seçildiği değerlendirilecektir. Araştırma kapsamında; Uşak, Konya, Bergama-İzmir, Saruhanlı-Manisa, Gördes-Manisa ve Konya yörelerine ait 9 taban halısı teknik, desen, renk, motif, kompozisyon özellikleri ve kullanım alanları bakımından ayrıntılı olarak ele alınacaktır. Literatür taraması sonucu elde edilen destekleyici bilgilerle konu anlatımı güçlendirilerek aktarılacaktır.
In Turkish decoration, the subjects of craving are very diverse. The animals, written, architectural, objective, symbolic forms are classified among the animals, which have been used in many branches of traditional Turkish art in every period of history. Women; fear, sadness, revenge, tradition, decoration, etc. For reasons, it has processed various animal shapes to the products they touch. Animals that have a very important place in the formation of emotions and thoughts have become the language of the roofs.
In the Turkish carpet art it is intense about real animals and unreal beings. One of the legendary animals, called mythological or imaginary living, which is often depicted on the roofs, is the dragon. The use of the dragon motif in the Anadolu documents is based on quite ancient dates. This motivation, which reflects the beliefs of our nation and the philosophy of life in the past ages, has been adopted by many cultures and transmitted to documents in different ways.
This research is of great importance in terms of learning about dragon-motivated roofs. The study will focus on the dragon motivation that reflects the memories of the mythical era in the Anatolian carpet motifs, the dragon will be assessed with which meanings and purposes the dragon is chosen as a motivation in the Anatolian carpet. In the framework of the research; 9 basement tapes of Uşak, Konya, Bergama-Izmir, Saruhanlı-Manisa, Gördes-Manisa and Konya areas will be discussed in detail in terms of technical, pattern, color, motif, composition characteristics and uses. The literature scan will be provided with supporting information by strengthening the story.
Decoration subjects in Turkish decorative arts are quite diverse. Among the ornaments classified as animal, written, architectural, objective and symbolic, those with animal figures have been used lovingly in many branches of traditional Turkish art in every period of history. Women; fear, sadness, revenge, tradition, embellishment, etc. For various reasons, they processed various animal shapes into the products they weaved. Animals, which have a very important place in the shaping of emotions and thoughts, have been the language of carpets.
In Turkish carpet art, real animals and unreal beings are mentioned extensively. One of the mythological animals often depicted on carpets, called a mythological or imaginary creature, is the dragon. The use of the dragon motif in Anatolian weaving dates back to ancient times. This motif, which reflects the beliefs and life philosophy of our nation in the past, has been adopted by many cultures and transferred to weaving in different ways.
This research is of great importance in terms of having information about dragon motif carpets. In the study; The dragon motif, which reflects the memories and traces of the mythical period in Anatolian carpet motifs, will be emphasized, and the meaning and purpose of the dragon will be evaluated as a motif in Anatolian carpets. In the scope of the research; 9 floor carpets belonging to Uşak, Konya, Bergama-İzmir, Saruhanlı-Manisa, Gördes-Manisa and Konya regions will be discussed in detail in terms of technique, pattern, color, motif, compositional features and usage areas. With the supporting information obtained as a result of the literature review, the subject will be strengthened and conveyed.
