Abstract:

Reşat Nuri Güntekin has contributed to the Turkish theatre with authorship, translation and adaptation, articles and criticism. The number of authors found twenty-four is important because the Darülbeday was written in the years when the authors found no authors in the quality to be shown. The writer has given a separate importance to the theatre throughout his summer life, and has continued his commitment to this kind of childhood dream and passion throughout his lifetime. However, the number of research done on this aspect of Güntekin, which is now more referred to as a novelist, is quite limited. This study was prepared in order to facilitate the research on Reşat Nuri's paths. The full list of all kinds of research and criticism related to the writer's paintings and theatrics has been tried to be given, but second-level biographies and theatrical dates have been left out of the work. More difficult to access, newspapers and journals in the library archives and research related directly to the subject of "Reşat Nuri Güntekin's theatricity" were included in the bibliography.
