Türkçe Ders Kitapları ile İlgili Lisansüstü Tezlerin Eğilimleri: Bir İçerik Analizi

Abstract:

Araştırma amacı, Türkçe ders kitapları ile ilgili lisansüstü tezlerin araştırma eğilimlerini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden betimsel içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın veri kaynağını, Ulusal Tez Merkezi’nde yer alan Türkçe ders kitapları üzerine, 2021 Ocak ayına kadar, hazırlanmış olan lisansüstü tezler oluşturmaktadır. Veri analizinde, yayın sınıflama formu kullanılmıştır. Veri kaynağındaki tezler, betimsel içerik analizi yöntemine göre değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, Türkçe ders kitapları ile ilgili 1992 yılından bugüne 358 tezin hazırlandığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu tezlerden 339 yüksek lisans, 18 doktora ve 1 sanatta yeterlik çalışmasıdır. Konuyla ilgili ilk çalışmaların ve en fazla tezin Gazi Üniversitesi’nde yapıldığı görülmüştür. Gazi, Atatürk ve Fırat Üniversiteleri başta olmak üzere 55 farklı yükseköğretim kurumunda konuyla ilgili lisansüstü tez hazırlanmıştır. Ayrıca Türkçe ders kitaplarıyla ilgili en fazla tezin 2019 yılında hazırlandığı, 2004 yılından bugüne bu eğilimin sürdüğü ve 2010 yılından sonra artış gözlendiği anlaşılmıştır. Türkçe ders kitaplarıyla ilgili tezlerde daha çok metinlerin, ardından söz varlığı unsurlarının, öğrenci ve öğretmen görüşü almanın, değerler eğitiminin ve dil bilgisi özelliklerinin konu olarak tercih edildiği; yine veri kaynağındaki tezlerde daha çok nitel araştırma desenlerinin kullanıldığı ve ortaokul düzeyi ders kitaplarının örneklem olarak tercih edildiği sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.

The purpose of the research is to reveal the research trends of postgraduate theses related to Turkish curriculum books. In the research has been used imagistic content analysis from quality research patterns. The data source of the research is the Graduate Thesis, which is prepared by January 2021 on the Turkish curriculum books located in the National Thesis Center. In data analysis, the classification form was used. The theses in the data source are evaluated according to the visual content analysis method. According to the research, 358 theses have been prepared since 1992 on Turkish curriculum books. Of these theses, 339 have a master's degree, 18 doctorate and 1 qualification study in art. The first studies on the subject and most theses were found to be done at the Gazi University. Thesis on the subject has been prepared in 55 different higher education institutions, including Gazi, Atatürk and Fırat Universities mainly. It is also clear that the majority of the theses related to Turkish curricula were prepared in 2019, that this trend has continued since 2004 to this day, and that the increase has been observed after 2010. In the theses related to Turkish curriculum books more texts, then the elements of the word existence, the student and teacher’s opinion, the values of education and language knowledge characteristics were preferred as the subject; again in the theses in the data source more qualitative research patterns were used and the high school level curriculum books were preferred as a sample.

The aim of the research is to reveal the trends of postgraduate theses related to Turkish textbooks. For this purpose, descriptive content analysis, one of the qualitative research designs, was used in the research. The data source of the research consists of graduate theses prepared on Turkish textbooks (until January 2021) in the National Thesis Center. Publication classification form was used in data analysis. Theses in the data source were evaluated according to the descriptive content analysis method. As a result of the research, it was determined that 358 theses related to Turkish textbooks have been prepared since 1992. Among these theses, 339 master's, 18 doctoral and 1 art proficiency study. It has been observed that the first and most theses on the subject were made in Gazi University. Postgraduate thesis on the subject has been prepared in 55 different universities, especially Gazi, Atatürk and Fırat Universities. In addition, the most theses on Turkish textbooks were prepared in 2019. This trend continues since 2004, and an increase has been observed after 2010. More texts have been the subject of theses about Turkish textbooks. Then, vocabulary elements, student and teacher opinions, values and grammar features were preferred. Qualitative research models were mostly used in the theses in the data source. It was concluded that the textbooks used at the secondary school level were preferred more as a sample
