Due to his qualities, Hazrat Ali holds a significant place in Islamic Turkish literature and has been the subject of many literary works. In these works, Hazrat Ali’s being the son-in-law of Hazrat Prophet (pbuh), his scientific and sufistic aspects, generosity, intelligence, high morals, and extraordinary heroism in wars are reported. In the pamphlet in which the legends about Hazrat Ali are mentioned from time to time, the verse pieces depicting Hazrat Ali also constitute a significant sum. In the introduction of this study, Hazrat Ali’s position and significance in Turkish-Islamic literature are briefly stated. Following this, certain conclusions are drawn about the author of the work.
