In 1923, two elections took place, one in Istanbul, and the other in general elections. At the beginning of these elections, the Defence-i Law Society, which has not yet fully established its organization in Istanbul, was supported by the Alliedists, which headed Kara Kemal and his friends. However, the appearance of Kara Kemal and his friends in the municipal elections in Istanbul has caused discomfort in the shadow of the Defence-i Law Society. After this date, the TBMM government has taken some measures to strengthen its authority over Istanbul. After a meeting with Mustafa Kemal Pasha in Izmit, Kara Kemal determined the road map that they will follow in the general election process by holding a series of meetings with the famous Alliedists. The decisions taken in these meetings were transmitted through some persons to Mustafa Kemal Pasha. Mustafa Kemal Pasha did not want the Allied members to take an active role in the elections, especially in Istanbul, and to interfere in the elections in any way. The news and comments against this possibility were made in the press of Istanbul that criticized the Allied and the Allied and the Terakki. Kara Kemal and his friends did not interfere in the elections according to Mustafa Kemal Pasha's request. In this study, the relations with Mustafa Kemal Pasha of the names recognized as the Allied in the two referred election processes and the approach of the press to the Allied and the Allied and the Terakki in the election process were detailed based on first-hand sources.
