The main purpose of this study is to measure the relationship between the academic success of students taking undergraduate level accounting courses and the level of mathematics knowledge in the university admission exam. For this purpose, the relationship between the mathematics performances of students and their performance in various accounting courses was examined. At the same time, the relationship between the success of students in an accounting course and their success in other accounting course or courses taken in the following periods is also examined. The relationships between students' score of Turkish lesson in the university entrance exam and their secondary education achievement scores, which reflect their success in secondary education, and their performance at accounting courses they took during undergraduate education were also investigated. The relationship between success in the courses studied in binary groups was tried to be determined by correlation analysis. As a result of the research, no meaningful relationship between students' mathematics knowledge level and their success in accounting courses was found. However, significant relationships were found between success in some accounting courses and success in other accounting courses.
